Denise Angelina Debrunner has more than two decades of marketing strategies and creative communications expertise including identity, advertising, signage, mail, print, photography, copy writing, consulting and website development and hosting. An accomplished artist and marketer, her vision and creative solutions have driven notable corporations, government agencies, small businesses and non-profits with companies such as Microsoft, Merrill Lynch, City and County of San Francisco Departments, Experience Corps, Sunset Neighborhood Beacon Center and Bernal Beast. As a young girl, she exhibited her artistic talent by drawing, painting, and taking photos of the picturesque San Francisco where she grew up. (Her parents could never figure out why the film in their Kodak camera always ran out so fast.) But it wasn't until high school when she was nominated by her art teacher to be in the United States National yearbook for art, where she realized her talent and chose art as her career. In college she attended fine art and photography classes which refined her creative skills and it was in college where she began utilizing the computer as an artistic tool. Immediately after college, she landed a job with Microsoft creating animal and nature animations for Microsoft's Children's Explorapedia on CD Rom. She then began working for the City and County of San Francisco. Her most notably famous City and County of San Francisco identity is the Department of Building Inspection Logo. By
working in a design setting with a print shop, she is technologically
aware of leading industry printing equipment, capabilities and cost
as well as environmentally friendly printing options. With a traditional
fine art and printing background, she possesses thorough knowledge
of color theory and how color translates from the computer monitor
into print. Her clients appreciate her not only for her artistic capabilities
and technical expertise, but also her easy going personality and ability
to work through any project from concept to high quality digital output
with ease. Education: San Francisco Photography Center Intermediate Black and White Photography, July-August 2004 Black and White Photography, March-May 2004 U.C.
